Football Ohio Northern

Alliance stayed a crisp 47 during Mount Union’s entire game Saturday. The weather that Senior offensive lineman Brendan Klaus described as “Football weather” was embraced by the Raiders. Mount Union moved to 8-0 defeating Ohio Northern 63-24.

The offense once again displayed an air attack rivaling anyone in division three. Quarterback D’Angelo Fulford found four different receivers for touchdowns, racking up 228 yards passing on the day. While Justin Hill continued his search for the record books with another touchdown, Wayne Ruby Jr. shined this week as the sophomore had a stat line of seven catches for 154 yards and two touchdowns.

Defensive, the Raiders only gave up late game touchdowns. Senior Nate Fisette made sure the Polar didn’t push the pass by intercepting the second throw of the game. The Raiders defense gave up only 78 yards in the first half, resulting in only three Polar Bear points.

Next Mount Union takes on Muskingum at Home. The game can always be heard on 91.1 Wrmu. The station provides pre game at 12:00pm, Special interview at 1pm and kickoff at 1:30. Join Billy Beebe and Will Brienza this Saturday
