Avengers- 2012

After viewing “The Avengers”, Marvel Studios has their work cut out for them on future films. “The Avengers” is by far the best film Marvel Studios has released thus far. With the mixture of phenomenal actors, a great all-around plot, and a final scene that is full of action and amazing effects, you get yet another great production from Marvel Studios.

The film opens with the viewers learning that Loki (Tom Hiddleston) is back and wants to take out everything in his power. Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) witnesses the amount of power Loki has and decides it is time for the “Avengers Initiative”. He then begins to gather the resources to enforce that plan, which includes Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), Steve Rogers (Chris Evans), Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), Agent Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson), and Agent Barton (Jeremy Renner). The team also included Thor (Liam Hemsworth) who joined after a little brawl with Tony Stark upon his arrival to earth. As the movie progressed the team chemistry was not there for “The Avengers”, but after the death of a fellow S.H.I.E.L.D. agent that touched many hearts, the group of heroes finally began to work as a so-called team. The team of earth’s mightiest heroes is then tasked in working together to do anything they can to defeat Loki and the Chitauri (whom were sent to earth by Thanos to disrupt the peace).

There is not much more that you can say about this cast. As shown in previous films from Marvel Studios, the casting and acting has always been phenomenal. In this film, all previous films from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) are all combined in one, creating a super cast and stellar acting all throughout. There are no complaints with any aspect of the cast.

Overall, this film is at the top of the list when it comes to ranking the MCU. It is also pretty high up on my list for best movie of all-time, yes, I did say all-time. The movie begins with a shocker that plays off of Thor, creating a good start. Then you see the “Avengers Initiative” come together adding even more excitement. The movie continues to get better and better as you see the team come together, and see the conflict grow larger, until it finally reaches a phenomenal resolution, that I do not want to spoil, so watch this film if you have not already! My favorite scene from this film occurred during the resolution, and it is when the Hulk gets his hands on Loki and begins swinging him around like a ragdoll, then follows it with saying, “puny god”.

I do not care what kind of movies you like; this movie is entertaining to anyone and everyone. Obviously, fans of action and superheroes will really enjoy this film, but it is good enough for everyone to enjoy. So again, if you have not seen it already do whatever you can to get your hands on the film and watch it!
