On Sunday February 16, the Alliance Family YMCA held its second annual kids carnival. For all of Sunday afternoon, volunteers from the YMCA ran activities like balloon popping, piñata whacking, obstacle courses, craft stations and much more. Families had the opportunities to win prizes like goldfish, make crafts like bookmarks, and just overall have a fun time.

Morgan Brown, the Director of Child Care for the Alliance Family YMCA, gave her thoughts on the carnival. She said that she and her kids loved participating in the carnival this year. Her boys had the opportunity to participate in all the activities and stated that their favorite activities were the cake cup walk, the rock wall, and most of all, the face-painting. Her kids had a joyful time and would love the opportunity to come back.

Overall, the carnival was an outstanding success, and the members of the Alliance Family YMCA are looking forward to next year’s carnival.
