The integrated media program at the University of Mount Union offers a wide range of opportunities for students to get involved in video production.
One such course is COM 446: Creative Visual Storytelling. In this class, students learn all about film production from screenwriting to shooting to editing.
As such, students taking the class this semester are being given the opportunity to create short films. In addition, seniors majoring in integrated media are also creating short films as part of their Senior Culminating Experience (SCE). As a result of the amount of people taking these courses, you can count on several films to be produced by Mount Union students this semester.
Although it is the students taking these classes who are leading the charge on production, many of them (including myself) are looking for extra help on the crew. Some of the jobs we are looking to fill include extra camera and sound operators, as well as general production assistants. We are also looking for more actors to fill out our respective casts. If you have ever wanted to help work on the production of a movie or have ever wanted the opportunity to act in a movie, this is your chance to get involved.
If you are interested in helping on any of the movies, please email me at email@example.com. I can put you in contact with everyone currently working on the production of these films.
