A New Change for Phi Kappa Tau’s Date Auction

With Valentine’s Day around the corner, finding a perfect date can be challenging, but the brothers of Phi Kappa Tau will be hosting their annual Date Auction philanthropy event.

Starting at 7 p.m. on Monday, February 12 in the Newbold Room in the Campus Center, the community can attend and purchase a date from the chapter.

In years past, the campus community would go out and purchase a brother and the brother would take them out on an individual date, but a new change  is underway. This year, once a date is purchased, a group dinner will happen at the chapter house with all recipients of the Date Auction. Nothing is fully confirmed, but dinner is supposedly going to be spaghetti and appetizers. This new addition was brought to light by Philanthropy Chair Wil Luca.

The brothers are excited for this new concept and are looking forward to the community coming together. All donations are sent to Phi Kappa Tau’s philanthropy SeriousFun Children’s Network.
