Since the beginning of radio, people have been saying, Man, the music they play on the radio is terrible! I could do a much better job if I had the chance!

Well, here at the University of Mount Union, students are doing just that.

Mount’s campus radio station, 91.1 WRMU, hosts student-run shows Monday through Friday, 6PM-12PM.

Have a story to tell the campus, the community, or even the world? Dubbed ‘R91 Shows’, the station allows for students to share not only their taste in music, but their thoughts and commentary as well.

So in addition to hosting music/ talk shows, R91 shows can even be talk shows are free. That’s right, you don’t have to pay a dime for training or air time.

RSM welcomes on-air personalities, artists, aspiring PR gurus, writers, photographers, videographers, and those with technical prowess too! There are opportunities for creativity and real-world application of student’s passions and skills. There is truly something for anyone and everyone at Raider Student Media

If you are interested in getting on the airwaves or getting involved in Raider Student Media in general, you can reach out to the current R91 Director of WRMU for the 2018-2019 school year, Vinny Camma at cammavm2021@mountunion.edu. You can also attend a Raider Student Media general body meeting. These meetings are held Thursdays during UMT.
