The annual Burgers and Fries with ADPi’s event hosted by the Gamma Theta chapter of Alpha Delta Pi (ADPi) will be coming back to campus again this year on Wednesday, September 13th from 5-8 p.m. in the quad. Enjoy a burger, fries, and drink for only $5. Tickets can be purchased from any sister of ADPi or at the event itself. There will also be a corn hole tournament and teams can sign up for $3 per person at the event.
ADPi will be donating all proceeds to the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation, the Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland, and the Ronald McDonald House Endowment Fund. ADPi’s national philanthropy, Ronald McDonald House Charities, makes it a goal to provide a home environment to families with children in hospitals all over the country. They also provide healthcare for children in certain instances, and award grants to non-profit organizations dedicated to helping children around the world. The University of Mount Union ADPi chapter specifically dedicates their service to the Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland and is proud to support children and families in our area. Last semester, ADPi raised $1,500 at Burgers and Fries and are hoping to raise more this semester.
The women of Alpha Delta Pi encourage all members of the campus community to come out for this event and support their philanthropy. There is so much need in the world these days, and everyone can be a helpful part of the solution.
