UMU Toy Drive

We all remember what it was like being a kid on Christmas day. Eyes full of wonder looking at each gift trying to find the biggest one. University of Mount Union students, faculty, staff and Alliance residents can back to a family in need by participating in Support Staff Advisory Council’s (SSAC) 2017 Christmas Toy Drive until December 7.

SSAC is asking for new, unwrapped toys appropriate for children (boys and girls) under 10 years of age and younger. This includes but isn’t limited to books, stuffed animals, puzzles, games, sporting equipment and stocking stuffers. Toys can be delivered to any of the following buildings and to any of the following people:

MAAC – Laura Keyes

Beeghly Hall – Cathy Ossler

Bracy Hall – Andrea Williams

Chapman Hall – Traci McGray

EBB/T&H – Karen Skiba

HPCC – Teresa Latham

IT/KHIC – Anastasia Guiler

Physical Plant Building – Linda Montgomery

Gallaher Hall – Chris Pontius

Giese Center/Cope – Adina Haught

Welcome Center – Erin West

All donations will be sent to the Alliance Professional Firefighters’ Association. Monetary donations will also be accepted and checks can be written to the Alliance Professional Firefighters’ Toy Drive. In 2010, SSAC collected 389 toys and $130 for the Alliance Fire Department and hopes to collect even more toys to help qualifying families.
